About Dr. Rios
Dr. Frank Rios has been delivering exceptional dental care for over 25 years. A graduate of the University of Florida with degrees in Zoology and Dentistry, Dr. Rios is dedicated to staying at the forefront of dental innovation through advanced training and continuing education.
After practicing in Palm Coast, St. Augustine, and Orange Park, he returned to Jacksonville to open his private practice in 2004. Known for his gentle approach and genuine relationships with patients, Dr. Rios creates a comfortable environment where generations of families feel confident in their smiles.
Outside the office, he enjoys traveling with his wife and two sons, staying active at the gym and beaches, and spending time with family. Of Cuban and Argentine heritage, he also loves Latin music and home-cooked meals.

Dr. Rios has called Jacksonville home since moving here from New Jersey as a kid. He still remembers the buzz of the opening day at Jacksonville Landing and his first job at the old Mandarin Supermarket. He went to San Jose Catholic School and Bishop Kenny High School, and now practices right here in the Southside Baymeadows community where he lives. Active in his church, his kids’ sports, and local activities, he’s proud to give back to the same city that shaped him.
His love for dentistry started early—at just seven years old. Every trip to the dentist fascinated him, not just for the dental work, but for the sense of teamwork, caring, and joy in the office. And of course, the “treasure box” left a lasting impression too, which is something he now shares with his own patients. After years of preparation and five years working for others, he opened Baymeadows Park Dental in 2004. More than 20 years later, he still walks into the office with the same energy and optimism, grateful to make a difference in someone’s day.
Today, Dr. Rios believes dentistry is at one of its most exciting stages yet. With digital technology, artificial intelligence, and stronger modern materials, patient care is more advanced and predictable than ever before. At the same time, he knows what really matters: genuine hospitality, relationships, and creating an entertaining, welcoming atmosphere for patients and his team. By keeping visits fun, engaging, and patient-centered, he and his team are able to create a calm, relaxing environment—even for the most anxious patients. His goal is simple: to give every patient a memorable experience that can have the same lasting impact his childhood visits back in New Jersey had on him. For Dr. Rios, blending innovation with personal connection is what makes dentistry so rewarding.
